I am a amateur photographer who is self taught. I love everything about photography. My first camera was a Pentax Ashia 35 mm bayonet style so you can see its been a while. I have been out of Photography for some time now and I am excited to give it a go again. I have not settled in one area of photography as of yet. I am retired and can pretty much do what I want so it is exciting for me to get out and explore the world.

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Depth.”

This is my first contest to enter. I am a little nervous at the responses I might get. I love photography and I seem to get lost in what I am doing when I have a camera in my hands. I feel connected. This shot was taken at Gulfshore’s State Park at the pavilion over looking the gulf and sugar sand beaches early morning.
